Black Bean Brownies
1 can (15 oz.) black beans
1 box brownie mix
Open can of beans, drain and rinse well. Put beans back in the can and fill with water. Put beans and water in blender and blend until smooth. Mix pureed beans with brownie package mix. DO NOT add eggs or oil. Spray baking dish with Pam. Cook brownies according to package directions. Cool and serve.
This recipe came from a Weight Watchers meeting (no, I'm not on weight watchers). These are moist, yummy, and healthier. I will never make regular boxed brownies again. Anyway, this was our family home evening treat tonight and I wanted to share the recipe. My kids and hubby devoured the brownies. Brownie points for me-bahahah!
I love her recipes!!

Okay, I am going to have to try this on my kids! I love brownies but I'll eat the hole batch by myself if I don't have control that day. Maybe I don't have to have as much control with black beans in them rather than fatty oil. But I have to ask, does it make you have gas?
No gas, but we eat a lot of beans in this house. We love beans!
I'll give 'em a shot!
Next time I'm up for a dessert at my house, I'll make this! Thanks for sharing it!
Can you taste the beans???
I have been on a huge brownie kick lately. I have made them every weekend for the past three weeks. Maybe I will try your bean version this weekend.
I made gluten free brownies with garbanzo beans and they were really good, but much better on day 2. I'll have to try these.
