It's about 3:30 in the morning and I just can't sleep. I'm thankful to be sitting here posting on my blog and expressing how thankful I am for my life, my family and friends that support me. Unfortunately, I had a complication with my surgery that I had two weeks ago and on Friday morning I ended up hemorrhaging. I made it to the hospital and within an hour or so I was in surgery to correct it. It could have been one of two things and mine was the lesser of the two, thank goodness. My doctor has never had this happen to the many patients he has done the surgery on, but of course it would happen to me. Dr. Weary thinks I lost about 20% of my blood. It's just an estimate based on how much I lost at home (thankful to my sweet husband who was the clean up crew in the bathroom, it took him an hour-Yikes!) and then in the Hospital before getting the stitches I needed. I can hardly express how thankful I am for the blessings I received during this ordeal. Everything just fell into place so I could get what was needed for me at the time. I'm working on getting the images out of my head and the fear of it happening again. I'm thankful my neighbor friend that took me to the hospital didn't have to see my bathroom. Adri was a trooper. Let's just say I will be taking it extra easy this week and hopefully I can recover quickly and will be ready for my Gracie's Birthday and Baptism this next weekend. Thank you, thank you to all those that have helped out this weekend and the week to come!!

Sorry to hear about your complications with recovery. I hope you can take it easy. (I can't believe how big your children have gotten, it's amazing how fast they grow!)
I am so thankful too! You take it easy this week!
Thank goodness everything worked out okay. Isn't it amazing how different life can look after major traumas like that. I am glad that you are okay. Enjoy the excuse to take it easy for a while. I wish I could be there. Love ya!
There were many blessings that day! I am SO glad you are OK!
So, so glad you called. It was a honor to help and I'd do it again anytime. But, let's not, okay? :)
I am so glad that everything turned out o.k. How terrifying for you!
Loosing blood sucks! It literally effects your entire body...mentally and physically.
Take it easy on yourself. Don't stress too much about lying low, you will be back up and running full speed ahead in no time.
I was just asking Becki about you and was sad to hear about your complications after surgery.
Take it easy and take your time recovering!!!
