Nathan found this lovely nest in our tree a few weeks ago. A couple days later we noticed the mother laying on the ground next to the tree. I'm going to say she went to birdie Heaven. We are not sure what happened, but we were all very sad. Life went on for us and I had forgotten about the nest until today. I checked on the nest and it is now empty. I want this story to be a happy ending, so I'm going to say that the baby birds lived happily ever after-The End:)
