Glen Eyrie Hike

Sibling love!!
Teva and Aivan hanging out before the hike.

Teva and Aivan holding hands.

Breathtaking waterfall!

Aivan loving the cool water.

Mother-in-law Donna, Sister-in-law Roselle, and Niece Rachel taking a rest.

Sister-in-law Shannon, Brother-in-law Josh, and Niece CC
(Darn, I didn't get a picture of Josh's wife Maren)

Teva wasen't so sure about the water. She was cold and would not go potty in the trees. Poor girl, she fell asleep on the way back down. At least she had fun on the way up. One time she got scared because she thought I was going to drop her (Yikes! I almost did, but don't tell her that.)

We love hiking to the Waterfall. This is the place where my Brother-in-law Josh purposed to his wife Maren. They have been married for 4 years now. Wednesday was the last day of school for Olivia and Grace. They were bummed they missed out. Nathan had to work so myself and my two little ones hiked with the family on Wednesday. The hike is about .75 miles up to the waterfall, but the water from all the rain proved to make thinks a little more difficult for us. The hike requires crossing the stream several times. My feet were soaked by the time I got to the top. It was easier for me to just get wet then try to maneuver on rocks and logs since I had Teva in a backpack. Josh carried his pregnant wife, sister-in-law Shannon, Mother and mother-in-law over a difficult part of the stream, he is the man! I'm sure we will try to go back again this summer, hopefully the water won't be as high.
