I have been totally depressed lately. Okay, yes I can not believe I am actually admitting it. Most of my depression has come from just every day life stuff. I know I should be thankful for my blessings but sometimes I just get in a rut. I'm not one to feel sorry for myself, but darn it I just have not be able to get out of the blahh. This morning I was working out at the YMCA doing the usually routine. I finished my strength training around 6:00 a.m. and was going to workout on the StairMaster (building up strength in my legs for the Pikes Peak Ascent Race). I went to grab my ipod out of my jacket and my friend Debi said, "oh, are you going to go outside"? I was not planning on it but when she said that I looked outside and it was light out and the weather has been great, so I said great idea. I decided to drive back towards my house and park my car where there is a set of stairs. Amazing enough there are stairs right off of Austin Bluffs. There are not very many of them but they are steep. Well, I lasted about 13 minutes, but it was amazing. I was actually breathing fresh air. It was peaceful and just wonderful. No stinky, sweaty people running beside me-lol (hey, no offense my awesome workout buddies, especially Becki), no distractions, no televisions, just me and the outdoors. Then it hit me, I have the winter blues!! Anyone else ready for Summer? Anyone, anyone?

I am totally ready for summer and I am with ya on the winter blues! AND I will try and wear better deodorant at the gym! :)
Definitely ready! These long winter days have given me the winter blues too. You aren't alone! The past few days and the green poking through everything have been like a balm! I love it! One month one week until school is out...I'm ready!
Hang in there! Spring really is coming. Fresh air does wonders for the soul. I just realized that we have the same blog background. I love it...it is so cute! Good taste! Call whenever you want to talk or just get away. You are an awesome woman, and a wonderful mom. Not to mention, a great friend.
