Breakfast Pear Smoothie

1 ripe pear, cored and chopped
1 large orange, peeled
1/2 cup low fat milk
1 cup ice
1 tbs. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla-optional
yogurt-optional
I was out of oranges, so I just added orange juice in with the milk.

Oh YUM! We love pears - I don't know why I never thought to put them in a smoothie before. Duh!
