My first 38 miles......

A few things I learned on my 38 mile bike ride
1. I thought my behind would become numb at some point during the ride-NOT!
2. You can actually fall off your bike from laughing and not paying attention even though you are on flat ground and not going very fast.
3. You get weird tan lines
4. Yelling "on your left" feels like another language, but is really trail etiquette.
5. You start to feel a connection with all the people on the trail that are biking and running.
6. Your skin starts to feel like sandpaper.
7. The last 3 miles I actually started to hate my bike.
8. I wanted to kiss the breeze.
9. Mud is cool.
10. It was one of the best rides of my life.

Hmm, how will I feel in the morning?

How fun! Who did you ride with? You are going to be racing with Nathan before we know it!
