Sweet Teva turns 3 tomorrow. I believe I cried more tears when Teva was born then I did with any of my other children. Teva was my 8th pregnancy and our fourth child to be born. I knew Teva was our last baby and I felt overwhelming peace and comfort. We had endured plenty of heartache through the years, but we have been blessed beyond measure with our 4 children. Each of my children hold a special place in my heart. Teva is the baby of the family and will always be my baby. I laugh when I think about this story. I gave myself injections through my whole pregnancy with Teva. Towards the end of my pregnancy it was hard to find a good place to put the shot in because I was so big. One night I gave myself the injection and Teva moved at the same time. I called my sister frantic thinking that Teva could feel the shot. My sweet sister just laughed and said "No honey there is no way Teva felt the shot. I'm thankful for the opportunity I have to be a mother. Being a mother is one of the hardest things I'm doing in my life, but one of the most rewarding too. I remember a few years ago I was talking to a lady I didn't know on the phone for something and she asked what my occupation was and I said "Just a homemaker" She corrected me very quickly and said " Don't ever say just, you have one of the hardest jobs. I have never forgotten her comment. Thank you Teva for being part of our family.
