My friend Shauna posted about this elf on her blog and I knew I just had to get this cute little guy. This elf has graced us with his presence. The idea is from the book Elf on a Shelf . The elves watch the children and report back to Santa. We will start hiding our elf in December. Each night Nathan and I will hide the elf and the next day the kiddos have to find him. When he is found we will put him back on the shelf. Hopefully this will help motivate good behavior. We will also read a scripture a day about the Savior along with chocolate from our advent calender. The person that gets the chocolate for the day also reads the Scripture about Jesus. I can hardly believe the holidays are approaching. Thanks Shauna for the fabulous idea.

I'm glad that you got him! He is just too cute to leave at Michaels!!!
I just got him too, how fun!
We have an elf on the shelf too! It's so fun watching the kids seek him out. Luke likes to go get him and carry him around, so we have to put him high!
