We had a fun birthday with Olivia. Nathan and I surprised her at school and took her out to lunch, shopping and to get her ears pierced. Olivia thought she was just getting her ears pierced after school. Daddy had a hard time with Olivia getting her ears pierced(he survived). We decided that she was old enough and she would take good care of her ears. Ultimately it was her decision and of course she wanted to. The Monday before her Birthday we celebrated as a family(the ward halloween party was on her birthday). She picked pumpkin shaped pizza and pumpkin pie for dinner. We had fun carving pumpkins together and opening gifts.

As I started to read your blog, I heard the girls talking about curly hair, and Hope said, "Remember Olivia had curly hair?" So I showed them the pictures of your family. Everyone growing so beautifully.
