Wait and see, day one.
Day 2My children are developing great patience with this project. I have had this recipe in my file forever, so I thought it was a good time to make it (actually, this was Olivia's doing). The recipe for rock candy says to wait a week for the big sugar crystals. We will see if my kids can last that long. Two of the jars are looking great and the other two not so good. I'm not sure why, but hopefully they will come around. My kids are looking forward to eating the candy.

I remember doing this as a kid! Mom was a big unhappy to find her canning jars in mine and Rosie's closet though . . . :0)
What a fun activity for the kids! I wonder if Aivan will be able to wait a whole week!
