Pass Key Resturant and City Park with Grandpa Jim!

Grandpa Jim
(I wish I had my camera when he was walking hand in hand with Teva and his cane. They both were a good match because they can't walk very fast.)

It is a tradition every summer for us to go down to Pueblo and ride the rides at City Park with Grandpa Jim. I rode these rides when I was a little girl, so it makes it all more special. We couldn't resist stopping by and eating a pass key sandwich on the way-yummy! The timing was perfect because we were able to do this the week before my dad's hip replacement surgery. He has had both his knees replaced, now his right hip and if he can make it a couple of years, then his left hip. I have spent the past couple of days in the hospital with my dad. He will be going home tomorrow (surgery on wednesday and going home on Saturday)and then recovering and physical therapy starts. He has had a lot of medical issues the past few years. I'm not happy about the care he has received at Penrose Hospital down town. The nurses have not been very friendly and at least we have had a couple good ones in the middle, but overall we have had a horrible experience. Recover soon my daddy-o!!

Looks like you had a great time! Your cute dad, I hope he recovers quickly! P.S. My niece, Carson and I stayed up until 11:00 finishing that quilt! Yipee! I will help you with yours!
