I would have to say that one of my best and scary childhood memories is learning how to ride my bike without training wheels. This moment with Aivan just smells and taste like wonderful childhood memories. This is our third child to learn how to ride a bike and this is the third time I have choked up with tears. It is amazing to watch how your children put all there trust in daddy to teach them to ride. They fall, cry, and get right back up. Aivan was so brave and finally learned how to ride a two-wheeler. I'm proud of you buddy.
Pure fear on Aivan's face and yes that is a girls bike. Nathan didn't want to take the training wheels off Aivan's big boy bike until he got the riding down on our spare girl bike.
Is that a bird? Is that a plane? No, it is super Aivan
Aivan is riding on his own
That's my boy!I have to say thank you to my sweet husband for teaching our children to ride their bikes. Nathan is patient, loving, and persistent. Nathan is a wonderful teacher. Our children will benefit beyond measure from his knowledge.

YOU GO AIVAN!!! I can remember your nana Grace running behind me when I was learning, and thinking she was still there.
What a fabulous rite of passage. My goal this summer is to help Ty overcome his fear. He can totally do it, but he lacks the confidence. Maybe Aivan can give him a little push!
He looks so excited! It is so fun to see our kids learn new things and feel good about themselves, only one more bike training to go!
Good job Aivan. Don't forget to protect that cute face and head with a helmet!
Nice Neighborhood!!!
