Bargain Mart

I just love Bargain Mart. There are a few around town, but we have found the best one is on the west side of town. We go about every 4-6 weeks. I spent 44 dollars on all this food and there is a bag full of treats that got eaten on the way home. It is scratch and dent type stuff. Also some of the food is expired. If you know your foods most the stuff is fine( for example I never buy the expired salad dressings), we have never died or gotten sick from shopping here and we have been doing this for the past few years-lol. Cereal is always 1.50, and I get capri suns for lunches, 10 for 1.00. The best bargain I got there on Saturday was 24 oz. bags of nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips for 1.50 and they don't expire until may 2010. There was nothing wrong with them-super cheap. It is hit and miss, but we have found that Saturday mornings when they first open at 10:00 is when we usually have luck. If you need to stock up on snacks and cereal for the family this is the place to shop.

4 loaves orowheat bread, 2 bags 24 oz choc chips, 2 country time lemonade, 20 capri suns, 1 box little debbie snacks, 4 bags small granola bars, 2 boxes granola bars, 5 boxes 100 calorie packs, 12 count cakesters, 1 pop tarts-ugh I know, but they had fiber in them, 2 packages cookies, and 11 boxes of cereal. I know not all healthy, but it is all in good balance.
